Happy New Year!
On last Wednesday we had a tenant meeting about the current status and the exact price of LLO.
1) Everyone who attended the meeting voted yes for a membership of LLO (the national tenants’ organization) being 41,6 kr. This membership is also a personal membership.
The reason why it is 41,6 is to cover the costs of creating a bank account, having a domaine for our website and to ensure that we can cover the difference of payment when we sign up for LLO. We will ask cobbelstone to collect the money each month trough the rent. LLO has recommend us that it’s 500 kr. for each apartment per year. Again, I would like to state that LLO is also a personal membership. We will become a member as soon as possible.
2) We have been in contact with Cobblestone about the way the handled their settlement inspection (indflyttersyn) They apologize for their inconvenience but argued that this was the easiest solution. Many tenants haven’t had their inspection done including myself and I suggest you send them a ticket about a time where you are available.
3) We have received help from one of the tenants in terms of getting a website (Thank you 🙂 ) We will soon update you all about this and this is where you can read our notes from the meetings as well see who part of the board is.
4) Lastly, we have been in contact with the media, but unfortunately it has been quite a slow process, but the board is working on it.
